NES Students Celebrate American Education Week

Norphlet Elementary School celebrated American Education Week in November.  Several community members came to the school as part of the celebration:

  • Anne Michelle Coleman, a nurse from SAMA Healthcare, came to Mrs. Coleman’s 2nd grade class to speak about her job as a nurse.
  • Mr. Gross and Ms. Philyaw read to first grade classes.
  • El Dorado Mayor-Elect Veronica Creer spoke to Ms. Evans 5th grade class.
  • Whitney Webb talked to 3rd graders about her career as a physical therapy assistant.
  • Christa Sanchez talked to 3rd graders about owning a restaurant.
  • Officer Linda Howe spoke to Ms. Weaver's 4th grade class.
