Buckaroo Athletics

Smackover Norphlet School District maintains an active interscholastic athletic program that includes 24 teams in 10 sports.  All students in grades 7-12 are encouraged to participate.  The district competes at the 3A level in the Arkansas Activities Association

The SNSD Athletic Program is an integral part of the total school experience for both boys and girls in SNSD. We offer a variety of sports and activities to all students who have the skills and desire to participate. Our vision is to contribute to the development of the student-athlete; encourage and promote academic success, teach self-discipline and commitment in all endeavors, develop and teach ethical values, and develop a proper mental attitude.

Smackover High School offers multiple sports throughout the school year  for students in grades 9-12 including: Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Softball, Tennis, Track and Volleyball

Norphlet Middle School offers multiple sports throughout the school year for students in grade 7-8 including: Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, Track, and Volleyball.
