Registration is now open for the Camden Sportsplex Youth Fall Co-Ed Flag Football League for the 2026 season! Young athletes from Pre-K through 6th grade (2026-2027 school year) are invited to participate in a fun, active, and exciting fall league designed to build skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Regular Registration

• July 20 – August 28
• Cost: $65

Late Registration

• August 29 – September 5
• Cost: $80

Season Information

The season will kick off with a League Jamboree on Saturday, October 10, giving players and families an exciting start to the fall football season.

Additional Information

• Open to students in Pre-K through 6th grade for the 2026-2027 school year.
• No games will be scheduled during Carnival Week.
• Families receive a $5 sibling discount.
• Pre-K participants must be 3 years old by August 1 to be eligible.

Smackover-Norphlet School District 

is excited to welcome students and families back for its Districtwide Open House on Thursday, August 13, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

This is a great opportunity for students and parents to meet teachers and staff, tour classrooms, become familiar with campus procedures, and prepare for a successful start to the new school year.

Whether your child is beginning preschool, entering elementary school, or preparing for middle or high school, Open House is the perfect time to get acquainted with your campus and connect with the educators who will help make this school year a success.

There's still time to join Smackover Peewee Football! Registration remains open, and new players are encouraged to become part of the Buckaroo football tradition.

Practices are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the Norphlet Football Field, where players will develop their football skills, learn teamwork, and prepare for an exciting season.

• Copy of the player's birth certificate
• Current report card
• $60 registration fee

Community members in need of medical or dental care are invited to attend a Free Medical and Dental Clinic on Saturday, July 25, at First Baptist Church in Camden.

The clinic will provide free dental cleanings, tooth extractions, and physician services to those in need. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m., and patients are encouraged to arrive early.

This community outreach event is sponsored by local Southern Baptist churches and the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, providing an opportunity for individuals and families to receive essential medical and dental services at no cost.

Smackover High School is excited to welcome students back as preparations continue for the new school year. On Wednesday, July 30, the school will host two important events to help students get ready for the first day of classes.

Class Schedule Handout

Students may pick up their class schedules in the Smackover High School Main Office from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Picking up schedules before the first day of school gives students the opportunity to review their classes, become familiar with their daily schedule, and start the school year prepared.

Freshman Orientation

Incoming freshmen and their families are invited to attend Freshman Orientation at 6:00 p.m. in the Smackover High School Auditorium.

Orientation is designed to help students make a smooth transition into high school by introducing them to faculty and staff, providing important information about campus procedures and expectations, and answering questions before the school year begins.
