  • Before The First Day...

    • Get Organized
      • Pack your backpack with all required supplies (notebooks, pens, pencils, folders, etc.).
      • Have your schedule printed or written down.
      • Pick out your outfit the night before.
    • Know Your Schedule
      • ​​​​​​​Learn where your classes are located if possible (Attend Open House on August 7th from 5:00 - 7:00).
    • Sleep Well
      • ​​​​​​​Aim for 8–10 hours of sleep to stay focused and alert.
      • Go to bed early the night before school starts.

     

    On The First Day...

    • Eat Breakfast
      • ​​​​​​​A healthy breakfast helps you stay energized and focused all morning.
    • Be On Time
      • ​​​​​​​Plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early so you’re not rushing.
    • Be Friendly
      • ​​​​​​​Smile, say “hi,” and introduce yourself to classmates, teachers, and staff.
    • Ask Questions
      • ​​​​​​​Don’t be afraid to ask for help if you're lost or confused—everyone understands it’s your first day.

     

    Extra Tips...

    • Stay Positive
      • It’s okay to feel nervous—everyone is adjusting.​​​​​​​
      • Think of it as a fresh start with new opportunities.
    • Bring A Water Bottle
      • ​​​​​​​Staying hydrated helps you concentrate and feel your best.
    • Take Notes
      • ​​​​​​​Jot down important things your teachers say, like rules, supply needs, or upcoming events.
