Principal
Cody Cranford serves as the principal of Smackover High School and brings 24 years of experience in education to the role. He spent 19 of those years in the classroom and on the field as a teacher and coach before moving into administration, where he has now served for five years.
Mr. Cranford earned his bachelor’s degree from Southern Arkansas University and later completed his master’s degree at Arkansas State University. He has a strong commitment to student success and school leadership, shaped by decades of hands-on experience in public education.
Outside of school, Mr. Cranford has been married to his wife, Christy, for 23 years. They have twin sons, Connor and Caden, who are currently attending the University of Central Arkansas, and a daughter, Camryn, who is a junior at Smackover High School. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
