NMS Library Announces Book Character Pumpkin Decorating Contest

The Norphlet Middle School Library invites students to participate in our Book Character Pumpkin Decorating Contest!
Students may use a real or artificial pumpkin to create a character from a favorite book. Individual pumpkins or groups of pumpkins may be used, and pumpkins and gourds may be any size.
Contest guidelines include:

• A copy of the book featuring the selected character must be submitted with the pumpkin.
• Students may use multiple pumpkins to represent a group of characters.
• Real or artificial pumpkins may be used.
• Pumpkins and gourds may be any size.
• Pumpkins may be decorated but cannot be carved.

Completed entries and their accompanying books are due Friday, October 23.
We look forward to seeing our students combine their creativity and love of reading through these imaginative book-character designs!
